About
Infinitecoin, a cryptocurrency established on June 5, 2013, initially adopted the block reward rules of Bitcoin and Litecoin. However, starting from September 22, 2022, Infinitecoin implemented a new consensus mechanism. Under this new system, each block now rewards 1000 IFC, and unlike before, this reward will never be halved. This change in block reward rules was inspired by the approach used in Dogecoin.
